I teach One-to-One Yoga by Skype – so you can practice with me wherever you are in the world! All you need is a laptop or tablet with Skype (or FaceTime) and a good wi-fi connection.
No more worries about rushing to a class, or feeling uncomfortable in a room full of ‘bendy’ yogis. You just need to have the space to roll out your mat in the peace and quiet of your own home.
Individual yoga classes give you the personal attention to focus on developing your own yoga practice.
I teach gentle Vinyasa flow yoga – a set of slow flowing asanas (postures) focusing on the breath with emphasis on alignment.
What is Yoga for Self Acceptance?
I believe yoga can bring us home to fully accepting ourselves. Moving through our flow on the mat we can let go of the mental chatter in our mind, and bring ourselves back to our heart centre through our breath.
Class details: each class is 1 hour and 15 minutes.
Cost: £50 per individual class or £250 x 6 class card (to be used within 3 months).
Please contact me to set up a Yoga Discovery Call by Skype so we can find out about each other and, (should we choose to work together) discuss a suitable time for your own individual classes.
What’s One-to-One Yoga By Skype really like?
I liked that it was an individual session and I didn’t feel self conscious about not doing the poses correctly.
It went at a very slow pace that I needed, and I liked that Kate could show me the pose first and then we would do it together.
I really enjoyed the whole experience with Kate. She is an excellent Yoga instructor and has such a calm soothing voice. I highly recommend One-to-One Yoga by Skype with Kate, especially if you do not like going to yoga classes with other people, or can’t find a class that works with your schedule.
All About The Animals
I have dabbled in the odd yoga class before and have recently enjoyed using an app on my iPad that gives me fresh classes every day. The only problem is that there is no one there to correct your posture, which is why I chose to work with Kate.
Before the Yoga Posture Workshop I was struggling with some postures that were difficult and that were giving me back problems.
I was a bit hesitant as I was not sure how Kate would be able to see the problems that I was having with my posture without being physically present. However it was not a problem at all.
During the class Kate gave me some great alternatives to postures that were causing me problems. What I liked best was the personal interaction with Kate – she is fun! It is not like a class with many people, it is a totally custom made class – loved it.
I would recommend One-to-One Yoga by Skype for anyone who is an English speaker living abroad (it doesn’t matter their ability). Also anyone for whatever reason cannot attend physical classes, or is embarrassed or uncomfortable to attend a group session.
